Terms of use
Last updated: October 2026Please read carefully. These terms include a waiver of class actions and jury trials and require most disputes to be settled by individual arbitration (section 15). Lean is not registered or licensed by any financial regulator. Nothing on this site is an offer of securities or other financial products, or investment, legal or tax advice (section 3).
1. Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Lean, together with its affiliates, successors and assigns ("Lean", "we", "us"). They cover your use of this website, its interface to Lean's on-chain programs, and any related features we offer (together, the "Services"). Anyone with a legitimate need, such as bringing or defending a legal claim, can ask for the operator's legal name and address through the contact channels linked in the site footer.
By using the Services you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services.
2. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version on this page. A change takes effect when it is posted. If you keep using the Services after that, you accept the updated terms. If you do not, stop using the Services.
3. No offer, no advice, regulatory status
Lean is software. The site gives you an interface to open-source programs on the Solana blockchain that let people launch tokens on a bonding curve, trade them, and swap or provide liquidity in Lean pools. Lean is not registered, licensed or designated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission or any other regulator, and does not say it ever will be.
Nothing on the site is, or should be relied on as: (a) an offer to sell, or a request for an offer to buy, any security, derivative or other financial product in any jurisdiction; (b) a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any token or to follow any strategy; (c) investment, legal, tax or accounting advice; or (d) a statement that any feature is or will be available to you or where you live. Anything we say about plans or future features may change and may never happen. You alone decide what to do with the information on the site. Get your own professional advice first.
Some quote assets on Lean are tokenized stocks or other assets issued by third parties, for example PTN or xStocks. Lean does not issue, back, redeem or have any relationship with those assets or their issuers beyond letting their tokens be used as a quote. Pairing a coin with such an asset does not give anyone a right in the underlying stock or company.
4. Who may use Lean
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is higher, and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Services for a company or other organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
You may not use the Services if you are a "Restricted Person", meaning anyone who:
- is a citizen or resident of, or is located in or using the Services from, the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom;
- is located in, resident in or controlled from a country or region under comprehensive sanctions or embargo by the United States, the United Nations, the European Union or the United Kingdom, including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions;
- is on, or owned or controlled by someone on, a sanctions or restricted-party list kept by the U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control, the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce, the UN Security Council, the EU or the UK; or
- is in a place where using the Services would be illegal.
You agree not to use a VPN or any other method to hide where you are in order to get around these restrictions.
5. What the Services are
Through the site you can connect your own wallet and: launch a token on a bonding curve; buy and sell tokens on curves; trade in pools a token graduates into; swap tokens and add or remove liquidity in Lean pools; and claim amounts the on-chain programs make available to your wallet, such as creator fees or pool fees. There are no accounts and no sign-up. Every transaction is built in your browser and signed by your wallet. Lean never holds your funds or private keys, never trades for you, and cannot reverse, cancel or refund a transaction once it is on the blockchain.
Lean's programs charge fees on trades. Under rules written into the programs, a share of the fees goes to token creators. The rest goes to a fee router that buys and burns, or holds, $LEAN and keeps a treasury, in proportions the protocol admin can change. Reward-mode tokens also carry a transfer tax that is paid out to eligible holders. These "Protocol Mechanisms" are not a promise to you. They create no account, deposit, balance or claim in your favor, they are not an offer of or expectation of profit, and they may change, pause or stop. An amount is yours only once it is in your wallet on the blockchain. We make no promise about the amount, timing or continuation of any burn, treasury purchase, creator fee or holder payout, or about their effect on any token's price.
We may change, add to, suspend or stop any part of the Services at any time without notice.
6. Your launches and content
When you launch a token you provide a name, ticker, image, description and links (your "Submission"). You confirm that your Submission is accurate, that you have the right to use it, that it does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights or impersonate anyone, and that it is not unlawful, defamatory, hateful, obscene or misleading and contains no malicious code. Your Submission is written to the blockchain and stored permanently on IPFS. After launch, neither you nor Lean can change or delete it.
You give Lean a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, copy and process your Submission to run, show and improve the Services. Anyone can launch a token on Lean. Listing a token, showing it on the site or marking it as Lean-launched is not an endorsement. We may hide any token or content from the site at our discretion, but we cannot remove it from the blockchain.
7. Third-party services
The Services depend on things we do not control. These include the Solana network and its validators, wallets, RPC providers, the indexer, hosting, Jupiter, GeckoTerminal, Pinata/IPFS, block explorers, and the issuers of quote assets. They have their own terms and privacy policies. We make no promise about their availability, accuracy or security. To the fullest extent the law allows, you release Lean and its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, agents and successors, from all claims arising from any third-party service or your inability to use one.
8. Intellectual property
Lean or its licensors own the site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos and the Lean name and marks. While you follow these terms, you may use the site for your own purposes. You may not copy, modify, republish or commercially exploit our content or marks without written permission. Parts of Lean's software are open source, including code derived from Raydium under the Apache-2.0 license, and those licenses govern that code. If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, tell us through the contact channels in the site footer. Include what the material is, where it is, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized.
9. Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- break any law or use the Services for fraud, market manipulation (such as wash trading, spoofing or pump-and-dump schemes), money laundering or terrorist financing;
- launch tokens meant to deceive, including copies of other projects or tokens that impersonate a person, company or brand;
- post content that is prohibited in a Submission under section 6, or send spam;
- attack, overload, scrape beyond reasonable use, or interfere with the site or its infrastructure, or with any network connected to it;
- introduce malware or try to exploit a vulnerability. If you find a bug, report it privately through the footer contact channels instead;
- get around any access restriction, including blocks based on location or IP address; or
- infringe Lean's or anyone else's rights.
10. Suspension and termination
We may, at any time, for any reason and without notice or liability: change or stop any part of the Services; block or restrict anyone's access, including by IP address or region; and hide any token or content from the site. This includes when we believe someone has broken these terms or created legal risk. The protocol admin can also pause trading on Lean's programs and change fees within the limits set in the programs. Sections that by their nature should survive the end of these terms do survive, including sections 8 and 12 to 17.
11. Fees
Lean's programs charge trading fees on bonding curves and pools, may apply a transfer tax on Reward-mode tokens, and may charge launch or pool-creation fees. The rates are the ones shown on the site and in the programs' on-chain configuration when you transact. The programs take fees automatically, and they cannot be refunded. You also pay Solana network fees, rent for new accounts, and any fees charged by your wallet or other third parties. Fees may change for future transactions at any time.
12. No warranties
The Services, the site and Lean's programs are provided "as is" and "as available", and you use them at your own risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, Lean and its affiliates, service providers, officers, directors, employees and agents disclaim all warranties, express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of errors, bugs or harmful components; that information on the site, including prices, charts, market caps and safety indicators, is accurate, complete or current; that defects will be fixed; or that the Services will meet your expectations. Lean's programs have not been audited. This does not affect any warranty that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Lean and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, officers, directors, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, tokens, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the Services, under any legal theory, even if foreseeable. This includes losses caused by smart-contract bugs or exploits, network failures, wallet or key compromise, third parties (including fraud or manipulation by other users or token creators), or changes in token value. Our total liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the fees you paid directly to Lean in the six months before the claim arose. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lean and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, successors and assigns against any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense, including reasonable lawyers' fees, arising from: your breach of these terms or of any law; your use of the Services; your Submissions and the tokens you launch; or your use of any third-party service.
15. Disputes, arbitration and class-action waiver
Talk to us first. Before bringing a claim, contact us through the footer contact channels with a description of the issue and the wallet address or transaction involved. If we cannot resolve it within 60 days, either side may continue as set out below.
Mediation, then arbitration. Both sides will first take part in good faith in at least one live or video mediation session with a neutral from the International Centre for Dispute Resolution ("ICDR"), and will share its cost equally. If the dispute is not settled within 7 days after that session, either side may start binding arbitration administered by the ICDR under its International Arbitration Rules. There will be one arbitrator, the proceedings will be in English and held remotely as far as possible, and each side pays its own costs and lawyers' fees unless the arbitrator decides otherwise. Either side may ask a competent court for urgent interim relief to prevent irreparable harm, and any court with jurisdiction may enter judgment on the award. Arbitrations are confidential, except that either side may disclose the final award.
Individual claims only. To the extent the law allows, all claims must be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not combine claims of different people. You and Lean each give up the right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action.
Time limit. A claim must be filed within one year after you knew or should have known of it, or within the shortest period the law allows if one year is not permitted. Otherwise it is permanently barred.
If part of this section is unenforceable, that part is removed and the rest still applies. Any claim that must then go to court as a class or representative claim will be paused until the individual arbitration is finished. If we make a material change to this section, we will post a notice on the site.
16. Governing law
The governing law of these terms and the seat of arbitration will be stated here once chosen. Until then, section 15 applies as written, and any court proceeding these terms allow may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction.
17. General
You may not transfer your rights or duties under these terms without our written consent. We may assign ours freely, including to an affiliate or a successor. If we do not enforce a right, that is not a waiver of it. If any provision is found invalid, it will be applied as far as the law allows and the rest stays in effect. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as network or infrastructure outages, attacks, natural disasters, war, government action or changes in law. You agree to receive notices electronically, including by posting on the site. These terms, together with the privacy policy on this page, are the whole agreement between you and Lean about the Services. They replace any earlier versions, and no one other than you and Lean has rights under them. The English version controls over any translation.

Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026This policy explains what data comes from using Lean, what the site keeps in your browser, and who else sees it. It is part of the Terms of use above, and words defined there have the same meaning here.
What we collect
Lean has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email or ID. Using the site still produces some data:
- Wallet addresses and transactions. These are public on the Solana blockchain whether or not you use this site. The site reads them to show balances, trades, holders, creator fees and payouts.
- What you submit when launching a token: name, ticker, image, description and links. These are pinned to IPFS and written to the blockchain at launch, and nobody can delete them after that.
- Request data. Each request your browser makes to the site and its API carries your IP address, browser and device details. Our hosting provider uses that to serve the request and may derive your approximate country from it. Lean's own code does not store your IP address, and Lean sets no tracking or advertising identifiers.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs under its own retention policy.
Cookies and browser storage
Lean sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. It keeps a few settings in your browser's local storage, on your device only:
lean-wallet: the name of the last wallet you connected, so the site can offer it again.lean-prio: your transaction priority-fee setting.lean-rpc-urlandlean-indexer-url: custom connection settings, only if you change them in the network settings panel.
Your wallet extension keeps its own data, which it controls.
How it is used
- To run the Services: building transactions for your wallet to sign, showing token pages, charts and portfolios, and pinning launch images and metadata.
- To keep them safe: preventing abuse and spam, enforcing the restrictions in section 4 of the Terms, and looking into incidents.
- To meet legal duties: answering lawful requests from a regulator or court, and enforcing the Terms.
Who sees it
- Providers that run the Services: hosting (Vercel), Solana RPC providers, the Lean indexer and its hosting, and Pinata for IPFS pinning. Our API also fetches market data from GeckoTerminal on your behalf. Some of these providers process data in other countries.
- Services your browser contacts directly:
- Google Fonts, which loads the site's fonts.
- Jupiter, for SOL quotes and "Pay with SOL" swaps. It sees your wallet address when you use them.
- IPFS gateways and whatever image hosts token creators chose, which serve token images and logos.
- Block explorers such as Solana Explorer and Solscan, when you open a link to one.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, and anyone we need to involve to investigate abuse or enforce the Terms.
Lean does not sell your data.
How long it is kept
The settings in your browser stay until you clear them. Hosting logs are kept for the provider's standard period. Records we need to enforce the Terms or answer lawful requests are kept for as long as that need lasts. Blockchain and IPFS data is permanent: nobody can delete it, and we can only stop showing it on the site.
Your choices
You can clear the site's data in your browser at any time, and disconnect your wallet whenever you like. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. To ask, contact us through the links in the site footer. We cannot change or delete anything stored on the blockchain or IPFS.
Changes
We may update this policy by posting a new version here. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
Treasury
Every protocol fee goes through the fee router: 65% buys $LEAN, which is burned (or held), and 35% is kept in USDC in the treasury. The admin can adjust the split.
